The solar eclipse was seen by FUNcube-1 in orbit.
For instance, the solar panel current dropped quite nicely.

After the succes in 2013, the second edition of the dutch “satellite interest day” will be organised again on Saturday 25th of April 2015. This day will be part of the annual VHF-day organised by dutch amateur society VERON. Organising the day are Henk PA3GUO and Ivo PA1IVO. Overall organisation is done by the VERON VHF-commission. The PACC contest is now over. We had great fun, and the scores will show if we did well later.

How to spend the Saturday?

Putting the 23cm transmitter in another (surplus) case and adding the PA to it.
I traded the PA with Hans PH0V, and did some very small modifications (change heatsink, add semirigid to the output instead of BNC, change bias for 28V).

I still need another driver, at the moment I can not reach the full output power of the PA. and it needs some cosmetics still…

Today one year ago, a DNEPR rocket blasted off into space, carrying, amongst others, FUNcube-1, TRITON-1 and Delfi-n3Xt.
FUNcube-1 is doing great, TRITON-1 is functional, and Delfi-n3Xt has completed its mission.

The Manfred Memorial Moon Mission is an attached payload to the last stage of a Chinese Long March 3C rocket, to commemorate Prof. Manfred Fuchs. The Long March wil fly in LTO (Lunar Transfer Orbit)

It transmits in JT65b on 145.980MHz.
